PEEEI celebrates World Youth Skills DAY

In line with PEEEI’s mission to achieve immediate and lasting change in the lives of citizens through education, PEEEI organized an online training webinar session on the topic “Skilling up Teachers, Trainer and Young People for a Transformative future” to Celebrate the World Youth Skills Day.

Development Expert was the guest for the day. He spoke extensively on leveraging  social media to make public what we do and also, reach more people which will in turn lead to more profit.  He emphasized that digital platforms helps us take our products to the potential buyers/consumers. It is therefore important for everyone to have digital skills that will help us enhance publicity both for ourselves and what we do. Attention has moved from billboard to our device.

He buttressed that location is no longer a limit. Internet and devices are here to improve profitable and increase our brand. Consumer touch point has moved from offline media to Google search; it is therefore important to have the right skill to maximize to maximize the digital space.

A total number of about 35 youths benefitted from this session. This is anticipated to broaden their knowledge of the many opportunities available in the tech space and maximizing it to transition to the labour market and to actively engage in their communities and societies.
