Taking the International Women’s Day 2024 with the theme: Count her in- Accelerating Gender Equality through Economic Empowerment to Karumajigi Community in Abuja was another level of fulfilment for PEEEI and her collaborating Partners: Kids and Teens Resource Centre and His Marvellous Grace Foundation.
The event tagged: Egg Race to Wealth was a track race competition organized for the 
women and girls in the community. There were a total of 10 rounds out of which 1 lucky winner was chosen
from each round for economic empowerment of their choice.
The choices of vocations desired by the winners include: tailoring, catering, support for their existing business amongst others.
The joy on their faces warmed our hearts and
we hope to see more transformed and empowered women through this year’s celebration.
